As you may have already guessed, my name is Jason Field and I'm a 27 year old programmer currently living in Benson, Oxfordshire.
If you want to find out the technical level of my knowledge about programming and computers in general then please feel free to go check out my CV. It's also probably 6 months out of date, as I am exceptionally lazy when it comes to updating it. I'm a software engineer, and I've worked on a variety of projects from the critically acclaimed M-Tron VST instrument, cross-platform games on PC, PS2, XBox and Gamecube (I-Ninja, SWAT etc.), and 3D audio psycho-acoustic audio processing for mobile phones.
I'm currently working for Oxford Instruments in the Molecular Biotools section, working on big shiny machines for NMR spectroscopy.
Aside from programming I am also heavily into music in general. I've been playing guitar (badly) for about 8 years, and I also play bass and sing (badly once again). My current plan is to learn drums and keyboards so that I can dispense with the need for other musicians entirely. They never understand my genius. You can check out some of the cacophony that I produce by visiting the sites of the bands I have the pleasure of performing with - see the 'My Other Sites' section.
